Behind the brand is me, Matt Hodgson-Fopp, a dedicated maker from Breakfast Point whose journey into the world of handmade soy candles is just as inspiring as the fragrances that fill each jar.
The Beginning of a Dream
I've always been drawn to the magic of scent. From childhood memories of fresh citrus in the summer air to the comforting aroma of vanilla in a cozy home, fragrance has always played a role in life’s most cherished moments. What started as a personal passion for home fragrance quickly turned into an idea; one that would bring premium quality, handcrafted soy candles to fellow scent lovers.
The Art of Candle Making
With a background in creativity and a keen eye for detail, my journey of candle making began with countless hours of research, testing, and perfecting each scent. My goal was simple: to create candles that are not only beautifully fragrant but also made with care, using the finest ingredients. Every candle is hand-poured with 100% natural soy wax, infused with high-quality fragrance oils, and designed to elevate any space.

Harvey & Co. Sydney was born out of my desire to craft something meaningful; candles that evoke emotion, enhance any atmosphere, and bring people together. From the first small-batch creations to now attending pop-up markets and Royal Shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide, the journey has been one of passion, perseverance, and gratitude.
